@BioPhreak While you're right in saying that musical talent was more likely to be encouraged in the era in which the Marxes grew up, you're wrong in saying that they learned anything about it in school. Only one of the five Marx brothers finished school. Harpo never graduated 2nd grade. Chico had one or two years of piano lessons at home. Other than that, both Chico and Harpo were entirely self taught.
