IMO, it's not as complex, deep or smart as it thing it is. All in all, is a very pretentious movie.Don't get me wrong. I love it and the problems that it had where nothing that couldn't have been solved with some minor touches to the script and casting somebody else instead of Lopez (still this is her best movie IMO).The visual design is gorgeous and mixes seamlessly surrealism, grittiness, gore and beauty.Style over substance... but what a style!!!
