@sarabower1 Being able to call yourself the Duchess of York is still a title, perhaps, not a royal title.

@MARCBSTN she wasshe is not a royal highnessbut your an american so you can be expected to know

i am surprised she wasn't stripped of her title. I suppose having children who are grandchildren to the monarch must have helped.

She makes a most eloquent case for Republicanism in the British Isles...fortunately, most people recognize she was a complete mistake, and don't permit the Royal Image to be tarnished by her grubbing vulgarity. Though she doesn't appear to be so looked down on here in the US. Ok, I better stop right now!

@ZandraBson No.

@mc0558 She has not tried to `extort` money from anyone. In other words to obtain money with threats, blackmail or other. What she is guilty of is influence peddling and I dont actually think that is a criminal offence. If it extends to York then that might change things, but whilst I think he is a bit of an idiot Im not sure it goes that far.

"The Duchess of York is financially incontinent"...Ha bloody ha!! Excellent!!
chanctonbury63 (November 30, 1999 at 12:00 am)
@swiminbuff There are plenty of arse lickers who would give their right arm to do that. Especially in the States. Thats part of the problem. She has a very inflated view of her own self importance.

She is a truly vulgar woman who would do best to disappear before she does any more damage to her daughters and ex-husband. Maybe someon should give her dinner at the Ritz and a ride in a Mercedes for Christmas.
