i love this film,one of the all time greats of sci fi movies.saw this as a kid and it blew me away.i still cant believe how young leslie nielson looks in the movie and he is great in it.

@csheff15 If you have access to Blu-ray, the colors in this movie will blow you away. I've been watching this movie for at least 30 years, but seeing it in hi-def was liking seeing it for the first time. Go! Watch it! :-)

i like these old films, kinda seems fallout 3-ish to me when you play the gameyou could put many of the old twilight zone, captain cody episodes in pre war america as well as the forbidden planet though it would have to be in black and white

When my dad saw this in the theater when he was young, the projectionist was really bad. In the scene were Robby the Robot was carrying a ton of lead and was asking were to put it, somebody shouted out "Drop it on the projectionist".
