0:51 you see the matriarch, the large female who is basically the mothers of all mothers, barge in from the left and takes immediate charge of the situation. Pushing all other mothers out of the way. She's probably at least 50 years old and has probably seen it many times in her experience. Mammals are such quick learners. It's awesome to see intelligence paying off.

Another of the million reasons I love elephants. They're loyal, protective, have an unbelievable memory, and they fucking look out for each other. Elephants for life!
