For those of you that are criticizing MIA, you obviously have misunderstood this song. It's about being a 'paranoid youth' in a city that's not of your own, living in a modern/urban war. 'Galang' is a Caribbean term meaning 'go along' or 'go your way'. It's about being underrepresented in a society that views you as nothing more than a hoodie. You'd be surprised how political she is in her music, don't begrudge her because her her music is far more complex than you wish to admit.

THIS SONG IS AWFUL. I TYPED IN MIA TO HEAR HOW THE HELL SHE IS POPULAR AND WHY SHE PERFORMED AT THE SUPER BOWL...LET ALONE THINK SHE CAN FLIP THE CROWD OFF. THIS IS PATHETIC THAT THIS PERSON MAKES MONEY FROM THIS SONG....I COULD MAKE A STUPID ASS SONG LIKE THIS..
