@polnan1 MY THOUGHTS EXACTLY! How we spell centre is completely irrelevant to the message in this song.
polnan1 (November 30, 1999 at 12:00 am)
@citrail the spellling is immaterial... we have drifted from Him, keep Him central!!
buraddoh (November 30, 1999 at 12:00 am)
@citrail Isn't "centre" just British version of "center"?
ruthlouiseable (November 30, 1999 at 12:00 am)
@rhyanski15 Its spelled Centre in Canada and England etc. Center is U.S. spelling.

@citrail Yes, Michael Frye from Vineyard. An English. That's why it spells Centre not Center. Trousers not pants. Colour not color .LOL

@citrail Centre is correct in Britain, so it looks fine to me :) Centre-middle of/centre-medical centre=same thing here. Centre is used in the UK, Canada, Australia, and New Zealand. America is the only country that has a majority of English speakers and still spells thinks differently from the original English :)

ryhanski15 is absolutely correct. Centre is the spelling in most of the world. It's pretty much only the USA that spells it center. There is no difference in the meaning.

@rhyanski15 British English is centre, in the USA it is center.

@rhyanski15 Hi there guys. Centre is the correct spelling in Australia and England. Center is the American spelling of it (they tend to spell things as they sound). |
