@Junior0569 If you mean, me, (Aero), yes, I'm a proud American. I'm not trying to be rude, however, I honestly believe Lycacek's performance was superior. ...and the judges thought so as well. Since it's over and done, one would think Plushenko would have been gracious and shown good sportsmanship. Aside from their performances, grace and sportsmanship are two qualities which round out a world champion.

On Evgeni's bad days he outperforms other skaters on their personal best days.  He definitely deserved the gold.

I disagree. Lycacek's skating was graceful and flawless. His timing was on point. Plushenko's was not. He had a bad day. Too bad it happened to be on the day he performed on Olympic ice. His performance was hard to watch because I know he's done better. Don't take away from another athlete's good performance because you happen to "like" the other guy better. They ALL work hard!

I'm American and I say Plushenko should have won the gold. And his skating was plenty artistic.Besides the fact that my grandmother is Russian and would beat the crap out of me if I rooted for USA , but that's besides the point.Plushenko is the best, that's it.Plus he's sooooooooo hot lol

Your opinion is idiotic.Lycacek didn't perform harder moves due to lack of confidence.Plushenko did it all.Shitty result.
