@calven1 Your friends are out of the loop. M.I.A. has been around for ages. I have no idea how to respond to the portion of your comment about how she "looks Muslim" and most of her songs/videos are Muslin, as that makes no sense at all. Jimmy in particular references Bollywood movies so... it's possible you're just categorizing anything non-white as Muslim. What would be wrong with her being Muslim, anyways? She isn't, but still.
