@Chudakov77 Maybe because Archer knows that Berseker will bersek him, and won't allow him to snipe with arrows from far away. Putting 15 arrows may sound easy to do, but remember the berseker's "Twelve Labours" and the thickness of his skin

@Cathanism What I find the most annoying is that the whole UBW arc Archer tried to prove that Shirou's ideals are fake and pointless. He even died in life BECAUSE of THESE ideals. And during the MOST important battle he reverts back to his stupid ideals he argued against the whole UBW arc and loses. Thats like double-super fail on every level. Unforgivable.

@Cathanism Archer''s only job was to win. Instead of he decide to reminisce with Ilya. All this after giving Tohsaka such a hard time about her policies towards Shirou. Well at least she had a damn good reason for her behavior regarding Shirou. Archer had no excuse for losing when could have won. Technically that makes him the worst damn Servant ever. At least Rider got caught off guard, its still a fail but not as bad one. Archer simply lost because he decided to lose. So annoying.

@Cathanism Oh I know the back story but played the game as well. Thats not the point. I am saying that Archer is not who he WAS any longer. He is a Servant now. Whatever connections he used to have with others are meaningless now. His priority to do everything in his power to make sure Tohsaka wins the Holy Grail War. That is it. That means he has to use his Class correctly and use tactics best suited for his Class. He lost to Berserker because of his foolishness.

If you play the game or see the New movie "Unlimited Blade Works" you know who Archer is in reality and the relationship she has with Ilya, therefore the reasons why he didn't atack her. You can get a glimpse when he says "you are relentless as ever, Ilya" ^^

@FireZtarDS I really dont understand why an Archer class tries to fights as a melee with a Berserker class? If I was Archer for example. I would simply bait Hurcules away from Illyasviel, which would be relatively easy considering Berserker class. Then I would put about 15 arrows through her chest and that would be that. All this "I am the bone of my sword" or ''I have created over a thousand blades'' is soo unnecessary ....its like DUDE, you are an ARCHER Class. Fight like one.

Honestly I don't think Archer can defeat Gilgamesh. The only reason I think this is because Gilgamesh would take Archer more seriously than compared to Shirou. But if Archer gets the chance to pull UBW out then he has a chance as long as Gilgamesh isn't able to pull out Ea.
