The competition included high level players who represented each of the amusement arcades.Beatmania IIDX 16 EMPRESS, the newest game in the Beatmania series, was released by Konami in November 2008 to amusement arcades throughout Japan where it is already being played. The game features a total of 520 songs, which is significantly more than the previous version.

No this is not the latest beatmania IIDX :/ DIDN'T YOU FRIKKIN HEAR WHAT HE SAID!? November 2008 it was released. IIDX 17 SIRIUS has been released in 2009 and finished with the internet rankings and now we are on the 18th iteration, Resort Anthem. Check your info dude before posting
