@thomasgovier possibly.. well she may not be an expert on this subject but i do actually believe she has some knowledge. I have been reading so much about it and just think its sad for the people of the Xingu. they believe their voices were not heard because the government took the decision to build the dam despite their opposition

Not the 1st time the brazilian government does such a terrible thing! look what happened to the 7 falls of Guaira, one of the greatest waterfalls of the world that no longer exist because ITAIPU DAM was built in 1982.By the way Sigourney Weaver sounds amazing because she truly speaks with her heart.
