how can you compare this to jaws? they aren't even the same types of movies. i hate when "critics" make asinine statements like that. for one, jaws isn't a monster movie. it's about a large fish; not a mutated fish, not a fish that was bread with an alien, not a fish that was created by science. a fish. secondly, it's unfair to the host because comparing it to a movie that has no relation to it, or any movie for that matter, takes away from its originality.

The movie had some gripping action sequences. Especially when the monster first comes out of the river.

i love how it supposed to be a scary movie but the beginning music sounds like something you would play when you see a drunk swaggering down the street
