@edudisney Really DO get this from somewhere and watch it properly. I went to see the stage show a few days ago, and it reminded me how great this film is. The music is wonderful (Rogers and Hammerstein, who did most of the greats) the acting is superb, and the storyline is flawless. Also based on a (semi) true story - look up Anna Leonowens for more info about the true story.

Pure, unadulterated sexual tension, without nudity.

The seconds seem like an eternity when Yul Brynner slides his hand around Deborah Kerrs waist to draw her closer as they dance. So romantic, not vulgar. It's beautifully done. Perfect pairing of actors - love it. |
