@earthborne Thanks for telling me about the background here. It's already a beautiful song, but knowing that the tears are genuine is extra wrenching....and yeah, I agree with you that she's suddenly captivating.

@scroticle Oh my bad. He did show up in the end, but he was three hours late and she was a bit of an emotional wreck by then.

@scroticle Angus Andrew, for whom this song is for (MAPS = My Angus Please Stay) was Karen's boyfriend then. Their relationship was falling apart and she wrote this song for him in a last bid to ask him to stay. She invited him to the making of the official video to listen to it, but he never showed up. They waited hours, until finally she just went on stage and sang. But during it she quietly starts to weep because she knows that there is no hope left.
