Paris is beautiful and all, but it was super dirty. Everywhere you go, the streets, the metro, everywhere is dirty! Also, be very careful walking around because there are a ton of scammers and thiefs. Do not talk to people that approach you with a huge grin or people that are coming towards you fast paced. For example, a tourist that would approach you to ask you a question would have a warm smile and he won't move fast towards you. Thiefs move fast and scammers have a disgusting grin.

@eliaviel1 They do smile :) i have been to Paris and the people there were kind and willing to help. Yes every1 has Steriotypical views on countries like, people think all Americans are fat or all Pakistanis are Suicide bombers but yes i know what you meen about them not smiling but trust me they are helpful people :)

Why French people are so snobnoxious ? With such a beautiful country they have, four hundred kinds of cheese, good wine and awesome landscape, they could me more agreeable ! And what is this inexplicable pride not to speak English ? Eh ?

I just wanted to let you know that a new website, Maroond.com, is starting a travel video contest. The videos should be short , around 5 minutes, and should highlight a place you know very well and that you enjoy. There is a prize for the top videos, but the real point is to have fun explaining why your place is the place to be ; )
