@hakukashi Yes, when Funi took over there was a significant amount of more blood. I remember watching it as a kid and thinking "Wow this is pretty bloody lawls". I guess that answers your other question - yes they allowed it to air on TV, too. It aired on Cartoon Network/Toonami back in the day. Yes, I did say Cartoon Network. Surprise, surprise.

@hakukashi The Ocean dub is censored quite a bit from what I remember (I'm watching the whole series through on dbz.tv) and right when it got to the Funi dub, I remember there being a LOT more blood. |
