@espinacho Sound Mode SwitchThese headphones feature a unique "Sound Mode Switch," allowing on-the-fly adjustment of your headphones' sound. Choose "Music" or "Movie" mode to match your sound source. "Movie" mode provides a bass boost, for higher-impact movie sound, whereas "Music" mode has a flatter EQ suitable for music. (found on amazon ) But the difference is not extreme, but it works.

@edscheindlin because they're studio headphones. For studios. where you walk around to get your coffee or if the plug is not right next to you. it's for convenience sake. They're not meant for your iphone. Though i have gotten the hang of rapping it around the left top part between the part poking out and the top band.

I had 2 pares of thes and the left headphone blew in 2 days, For both pares, BUT Mine dont make that creaking sound, AND the movie botton works on mine, When you put it to movie it gives it more bass.

can you please suggest any better headphones you've come across in these 2 years considering the price range 20 to 40 USD

I bought these about 8 years ago! The fact they still make them is a statement on its own! I use them EVERY day. No problems whatsoever. I'm a musician and I'm picky about the sound I get. These headphones never failed me. I stepped on them half weight and they are still the same shape. After 6 years the rubber headband tore(no big deal) and this year one of the cushions tore. I'm looking for spare cushions - they are easy to replace. Other than that I think they will last forever.

I didn't wash my hair for a few days so the grease from my head leaked into my sony mdr's and made the squeaking go away.. LOL |
