My shop cat did this once. She was playing with a mouse, and it played dead, then sprung up and bit her on the nose! She FLEW up into the air and yowled!

Men! A cat acting like that knows that the boss wants the rat to be alive..he must have learned how to behave..in real the cat takes a strange rat as a tiger in the neck and brakes it..
