"I watched you braid your hair, you're from another time..." - I really appreciate this line. Though I don't listen to much of Conor Oberst's music anymore, it really influenced my music preferences now, it opened my eyes to a lot of great new music. I like that Monsters of Folk include fantastic lyrics, like many of the lyrics in this song.
