@infamouskhaos99 yeah, i know, but if he's always like that then does it really make a difference? it's a true statement but it doesn't convey any new information, when people think of ichigo using shikai (if they ever do) they don't consider him to be any more powerful, it's just ichigo, the way he always is. it's hard to say he's more powerful when he's always like that, but yes, you're right.

@Argyranthemum I think Kenpachi is just a crazy maniac who is incredibly strong because of all the fights he has fought.

Theory: Kenpatchi's sword swapped places with him wayyy back in the day like before he became captain, I.E. the actual Kenpatchi is stuck in the sword that can never change and its incredibly dinged up while the Zanpakuto's spirit lives in his body. Hence, his body can cope with any new challenge by growing stronger but his sword is stagnate.

@4195phoenix actually he is always in shikai because he has such a massive spiritual pressure that he can't seal it. but he doesn't know his sword name therefore he does not have any special power. understand?
