i dont really like the sniper because the bullet goes too slow and it gives away your position because of the smoke. my opinion. :)

halo 1 pistol is the best. 3 shot kill to the face, same clip size as BR (if you count burst as one being br usually has 12 shots), its acurate, and good melee. HALO 1 PISTOL KICKS ASS

er...spelling? it's Weapon, not Wepon, and it's Detachable not Detatable...Anyways, if we are talking all weapons across all Halo games, the Pistol from Halo: Combat Evolved is definitely better than the Battle Rifle. It was scoped, shot as fast as you could push the button, and it already pretty much killed everything in one shot anyways.
