God this is still brilliant! The earliest song I can remember - doing the dance on the living room floor. Where did all those years go, and why is everything so crummy now? Hell, this 'novelty record' has more musical talent than most of the crap that passes for music nowadays. The country really has gone to the dogs. Sad.

No matter what the song was in this era you could always dance to it... Try dancing to the crap whats in the charts now!!! I challenge any artist today to write a song that you can dance to like we did back in the 70's... They havent got a clue today In the words of the late great Ian Dury What A Waste !!

When i was at school in the UK 73-78 (comprehensive ) you were either a Slade or Sweet fan .Mud as good as they were too were not really in the mix /mud 'scuse the bad pun..intended!
