@lightningjelly Shanai was selling out Country Bars north of Toronto when she was 14 years old her mother believed in her and got the bar owner to let her play even when she was to young.  Her parents where poor and she supported the family for years and then her parents died in a tragic car accident. She still looks after her siblings in Timmins ontario where she is from!!
