having Just one high gain antennas is Usless for long range connectiion without a second high gain antenna on the other side so basically because you have a powerfull high gain antenna does not mean you will be able to pickup wifis from miles away unless you have another high gain antennas on the other side having just one high gain antenna it might pickup lots of wifis but connecting to most of them is impossible signal will be to weak!!!

ok... i made the antenna... how do i connect it if there arnt connectors? i cracked open my wireless network card and there are + and - signs next to squares of solder. do i just solder 2 wires on or will that short circuit it???

Video if great. Actual usage horrible. Why waste the money on parts when i can go big for the same price. That is unless your time is free and parts are free then go for it.

Is the copper wedge better than using just a piece of wire? Also what about the distance of the wedge from the bottom of the can? I didn't catch the distance in the video. Thanks |
