@XieYC If you read the full Universal Declaration of Human Rights there are articles which prevent people from using them as excuses. Tell me which article you think is wrong.

Human rights is not entirely beneficial. As much as I see why human rights is so important, I personally feel that human rights should not be fully implemented. Sooner or later people are going to start using it as an excuse to escape punishment for whatever wrongdoings they committed. As a matter of fact, human rights are not to be applied for those incompetent people in the world who do not follow the proper social protocols as a human being.

Some people do not see the value because they are in a group whose rights are generally not in jeopardy. However, if the table were turned and their rights were to be taken away it would immediately become personal to them and it would then be clear that it's wrong. They lack empathy for others because they have no frame of reference. It's very sad.
