Well, the reason his career was cold before he passed was because they hardly ever played his videos on MTV, VH1, BET, etc. and you hardly ever heard his songs on the radio. In fact he was barely in the news after he was found not guilty after the trial in 2005. I did not see on any news show that he was having a comeback concert so I was unaware of it. After he died his music was re-discovered by adults who grew up with him and their kids who did not know who he was musically.

He has to release 3 new cd's with never before heard material, plus greatest hits cds and a couple of dvds. That's a lot to ask from a dead man. This deal is ridiculous, not only for the obvious, but cd and dvd sales are declining each year. There was even a poll conducted showing that sales of mp3 were down. A study showed that most young people listen to music with youtube. Lady Gaga's 20 million views of her new Telephone video, could have told us that.
