There isn't really much evidence to suggest Michael was a child abuser. Many of the kids that were said to be molested came out to defend him. The parents of the kids who accused him were extortionists who wanted his money. The media used this to destroy him for sales and profit. Whenever Michael tried to do something good to repair his reputation the media would viciously counter him.

Just because a guy actually cares and gives a crap about children and the world doesn't make him a creep or a pedophile. There's nothing weird about it.
