And if you you knew what you were talking about you would wouldn't use the term "Suprised"Where do you think the spent rods go? They don't vanish into thin air. @aussietv2 The plant in Japan was over 30 years old; if you understood what you were talking about you would know how that makes a difference. I would be surprised if any of France's nuclear power plants have yet to be upgraded in the last 10 years. And btw nuclear power is green no matter how old the plant. What makes it dirty is the actually mining for uranium.
